Al-Arafah Islami Bank opens 142nd branch in Magura

Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. has opened 142nd branch at College Road, Magura on 8 May, 2017, a press release said Monday.

Managing Director Md. Habibur Rahman inaugurated the new branch as Chief Guest.

Former Chairman and Director of the Bank Alhajj Abdul Malek Mollah presided over the ceremony.

Head of AIBL Khulna Zone Md. Manjurul Alam delivered the welcome speech while Senior Vice President Engr. Md. Habib Ullah, owner of the building Shahzadi Begum, Secretary of Magura Press Club Shamim Ahmed Khan, prominent businessmen Md. Shafiqul Islamd and Md. Akram Hossain Khan addressed the occasion.

The program was directed by Vice President of the Bank Jalal Ahmed.  Manager of the branch Md. Shariful Alam thanked the audience.

Chief Guest of the ceremony, Managing Director Md. Habibur Rahman, in his speech, said Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. was established not for making profit by doing business but for the welfare of the society.

He invited all to have the blessings of Islamic banking service in the new branch. He also said, only Islamic banking system can boost-up the economy of the country.
