Mir Niaz Morshed, Operations Manager of Herfy’s Bangladesh arm will participate in a corporate training in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia shortly along with the company’s Director and one of the owners Mohammad Mishal.
Niaz is the first employee of Herfy’s Bangladesh operations and has been serving as one of most important pre-opening project leaders.
He will stay Saudi Arabia for two months.
He started his career with Pizza Hut Bangladesh and worked with several top class international and local restaurant brands like Verbanella, Wasabi, Teppanyaki, Le Soufflé, The Deli, Bellagio Bar, United Group and Thai Nation.
He is one of the youngest franchisee restaurant pre-opening experts in Bangladesh.
As we have seen, most of the franchisee restaurants were opened by foreign experts in Bangladesh but Greenland Group had given him the big responsibility to lead the upcoming restaurant’s startup project which was a brave decision and exemplary for the young food & beverage professionals.
Greenland Services Limited has signed the franchisee agreement with Herfy Food Service K.S.A to open 10 restaurants within 2 years. Greenland Services Limited will open the first “Herfy Bangladesh” flagship restaurant in Gulshan, Dhaka. Also, they will open in Uttara, Banani, Dhanmondi& Bashundhara within next year.
Herfy (Arabic: هرفي) is a major fast food restaurant chain in Saudi Arabia and one of the largest in the Middle East, surpassing international chains in terms of presence. It has a total of more than 375 restaurants and 6,000 employees throughout Saudi Arabia.
It also has many subsidiaries including Herfy Bakery and a soon to be built meat processing plant. It has been an entirely Saudi-owned company since its inception.
Herfy is a fast-growing network of over 370 hugely popular fast food restaurants across Saudi Arabia. This makes Herfy far and away the biggest and fastest-growing fast food chain in the Kingdom—and one of the biggest fast food companies in the Middle East.
Indeed, Herfy has already started expanding overseas with branches in Bahrain, Emirates, Kuwait, and Egypt, and soon, the rest of the Gulf. Herfy is also expanding their business in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malaysia and few other Asian countries.
Herfy’s menu offering top Saudi favorites because of the way they capture local tastes, has helped fuel Herfy’s phenomenal growth. Herfy offers one of the most varied menus in the business including a choice of 19 combo meals and some 30 individual items from hamburgers to chicken, seafood and various side orders.
In response to changing market tastes, Herfy regularly refreshes its menu with new additions, including such recent hits as the Mushroom Swiss Burger, Chicken Rings, besides a variety of side orders and desserts like Fusion Ice Cream and Herfy Frappe.
This unique success is reflected in reality by having ISO 22000:2005 certification for all Herfy restaurants at once not for each restaurant apart, hence it is one of the first companies in the region to have such certification with that effectiveness.
